I came home from shopping to find my lady Panther "Pancake" covering the hole she's been working on for days! I've been camped out by her cage peeking through a 1cm x 1cm "peephole" for days now. I've put off Christmas shopping for this, waiting for my first gravid female to lay her eggs. I can see a few eggs up against the wall of the semi-transparent tupperware container and now I have to wait for her to finish filling in her little pit. This waiting is killing me. She looks so skinny, I am astounded by all the effort this little chameleon has put into digging and burying; its truly amazing. As much as I want to uncover the eggs, I really want to feed little Pancake too, she must be so hungry and thirsty. Alright, back to pacing and waiting, pacing and waiting...
Happy Holidays to all,
~Kerry
