When a female lays her eggs, does she pack the stuff down? Will she make it look like she never dug at all?
No, there is kind of a hill where she buried them. You will know when she lays them as she will be a lot skinnier than she was before.

My female is actually pretty good at hiding them, the only way i know she has layed them is when she all the sudden looks alot thinner. Plus like Josh said theres a bit of a rise because she piles all the dirt on em.
I normaly notice by the huge pile of vermic spewed out of the front of her laying box. She did this, this morning I looked but she'd just dug a huge hole in the corner and left it.
If you put a nice moist warm lay box in there for her I'm sure she'll lay in there for you.
