Bug question??????

Chameleon996 Dec 23, 2003 08:47 PM

I am asking everyone here because this is where I usually am. I found this huge black bug in my Helmeted Iguanas cage. Is that what superworms turn into? It was about 1 1/2 inches long and really nasty looking. All my lizards eat superworms on occasion I guess Louie missed one...:]

Probably. They look like a stinkbug kinda just a beetle solid black (after a few days old). They emerge from superworms after about a month of being hidden away somewhere. I find them in my garage 2-3 times a month. I have pics of them on my site. Get a bunch of them and they breed pretty easily.
