is it normal that a uro likes to sleep all day, my uro comes out for a few hours a day he basks climbs the glass and walks around, but then he will go under his hide place and sleep for most of the day, once again all temps are good and uro does not appear sick, is this normal and does anyone have the same problem with there uro

Don't know that it's actually a problem. Rocky goes through periods of times where he does exactly what you described. I wonder as well, but he always comes around. As long as the temps are right, he's eating, and while he's out he's active, I'd say he's fine.

Maybe it's a shortened type of brumation? I don't know. I will assume Rocky is a male? I don't know about yours, you other person but my female does the same thing. Bask, eat, run around, sit, eat, sleep. She's out all and all about 4 hours.. while my male is out all day. Is there a cagemate with your uro? Maybe that's the problem.. hmm. A lot of possibilities you know.
