Nice work!
I am new to the road herping concept, so i have a question for you (or anyone else reading this that wants to tell their technique):
when you go out on the road, do you just try to find good roads and drive slow to spot what you can, or do you pick a few places to get out and 'beat the bushes' a little?
When my friends and I go, we normally just drive roads in productive areas. If you find snakes in an area in the day, normally you can see them crossing the roads at night. Roads that are near water are normally good places to start. Also look for DOR's as if you see dead snakes on the road, they will be moving across the roads at night or after a light shower. You can always go check sides of the roads, but around here most of them are fenced off, though boards on the sides of the roads are still fair game. Andy
