Newbie question??????????

Chameleon996 Dec 24, 2003 11:06 AM

I have two toads that I kidnapped while on vacation in Myrtle Beach S.C.. I have done research to find out what kind they are and from what I can figure out they are southern toads. I went to enature .com and looked up toads in the area where I got them and that is what I came up with. I have had them since August and they are growing and eating nicely. I duplicated their environment as closly as possible including temp and substrate. My question however is this. If someone has a picture of a souther toad I would like to see it, I can not post a picture of mine. Also any info regarding these guys would be appriciated. They are not very big thesmall one is about the size of a quarter and the other is slightly larger. They are light brown in color with darker spots.

The best thing to do is to go to google.com, click on images, and do a search with the scientific name.

Here are a couple photos that I had submitted to a site once. They are very common here in FL. I, how ever, didn't keep them. Just over night then released them the following evening.
