My vision has arrived!

Finally got here after 2 weeks of waiting. Sooo happy. I think im set with everything: cage, newspaper, thermostat, radient heat panels, digital thermometer, 60 watt heat bulb/lamp. Did i miss anything? A grand total of about $550 worth of christmas presents. What a christmas. Quick Question...should the two heat panels (11x11 each) be enough heat or do you think i will need to add the heat bulb? And if i do need to add the heat bulb, do i just use a regular heat lamp and put it over the hole with mesh and let the heat funnel down into the cage? or do I need some special heat lamp thing that goes into the hole? That kind puzzled me...I havent gotten it completley set up yet but almost there. Cant wait to see how my burm likes it compared to her aquarium with only a heat lamp on 24/7 and no thermostat, thermometer etc.
Thanks guys- Merry XMAS

congrats on the cage. I think you should set the cage up with jsut the two heat panels and try to get the temps right that way. I would set on panel higher than the other if possible so that way you might be able to obtain a hotter side. If that doesn't work then you could use the spot light. Regardless if you use the spot light you shoudl provide some form of light for the snake so it can have a normal photo cycle. Set the lamp on a timer for 12 on and 12 off. Anyway, good luck with the setup. Hope everything works out for you. Todd
