Help, Knight Anole Not Eating

OneTwoManyHerps Dec 24, 2003 02:52 PM

Hey everyone, it's been around a month since my knight hasn't eating, his color and alertness is perfect but he just doesn't want to eat. I've tried giant mealies and pinkies yet no interest in eating. He grabbed one of the pinkies and just held it for a while and then dropped it. What could be wrong? All of the temps are good and there hasn't been any changes in his setup.

Well could be old age, not sure what you could do about that.

Could be the weather. My Knight notices when it drops temp outside severly... but inside never drops past 70 plus his cage is heated 24/7. A few days ago he didn't eat for like 3 days... but he's eating again (warmed up outside).

I'd make sure his temp isn't dropping severly over night. Make sure he's got enough room in the cage. And if he still doesn't eat take him to a herp vet.
