How Long Can Cresties Go?

OneTwoManyHerps Dec 24, 2003 02:58 PM

I have two young cresteds that are eating both baby food and crix. The smallest is about 2" with the other beeing a little bit bigger. I am wondering how long they can go without eating if they are fed 6 crickets. They will have water available at all times. The reason I ask is because I will be going out of town for eight days and am wondering if they will be ok?

What happens if they defecate in the water??? What about misting for appropriate humidity levels? Also theyre growing geckos and need as much food as they can get. IMOH you need to get someone to geckosit for your cresties.Good Luck!!

I agree. and 8 days is a long time, and pretty much any animal shouldnt be left alone that long without someone coming in to care for them. I second the thought of finding a crestie-sitter. Good luck!
