Wanted to take a moment out to wish all you Drymarchon lovers a Happy and Safe Christmas, and an equally Happy New Year. Lets not forget why this holiday exists, and celebrate his birth. I hope all your drymarchon plans for 2004 come through and that joy and prosperity is yours.

***Cheers**

I agree Eric, merry CHRISTmas to everyone too. Several days ago I traveled out of state to pick up an assortment of venomous herps from a private collector who, due to failing health, didn't want to risk a bite and felt he couldn't give these snakes the attention that they deserve. So, with tongs, tubes and hooks in hand, I headed off on an 8-hour trip. What came home? Here are my new office buds:

1.1 Atheris ceratopherus (amazing looking bush vipers)
1.1 Atheris "squams" (one is bright green, the other red...feels a lot like Christmas!)
1 White lipped viper (stunning but VERY aggressive)
1 Atheris desaixi (VERY RARE and drop dead gorgeous)
1 Desert Horned Viper (probably the coolest looking snake of the bunch!)
1.1 PUFF ADDERS (one of the most imposing of snakes....between the loud "puffs" and the lightning fast strikes, this is one snake you don't want to "muck" with...but I enjoy working with them very, very much. The female is a brilliant yellow)
2 very red looking atrox (maybe ruber?)
2 very cute baby squams (nothing cuter than a baby squam....well, a baby couperi has them beat!)
1 pygmy rattler

Many of these are going to some friends who are licensed private venomous collectors but I will be keeping a "few" (hey, my wife even thought that some of them were cute and wanted me to keep some so how could I pass up this moment....what a Christmas gift!).

Hope everyone on the forum has a wonderful, joyous and relaxing day (and Holiday season no matter what you celebrate).

Cheers, Rob

I just wanted to let you know that BMW has grown into an absolutely georgeous creature...you probably knew that when you sold him to me, but he's totally exceeded MY expectations. I take him to shows with me (with the hopes of snagging possible future sales of offspring) and he is always the star of the show. It's amazing how many people are afraid of the permit process and are willing to wait years before I think I may have breeding-size Indigos. Once again, thanks for the great snake!

One of the best I have ever produced. one snake that I truly hated to sell. I can understand people being interested in future offspring, that is a truly nice looking couperi. Have a GREAT New Year, glad I was able to make one of your wishes come true.

Take care,

Fred Albury
