Interested in tricolors

nasr_36 Dec 24, 2003 07:27 PM

Hey,

Does anyone here keep E. tricolor? I heard their simple to breed, and pretty hardy in captivity. I plan on purchasing a trio to house in a 20 gallon high.

Anyway, are they arboreal or terrestrial? How large do they get? Etc. If anyone knows a decent caresheet on these guys, dont hesitate to post.

Thanks,
M.N

these frogs usually get between 18 and 26 mm, often captive bred, they wil lbreed very easily in captivity if happy. clutches of 15 - 25 eggs at a time. eggs hatch in about 14 days. they are quite small which makes them hard to feed, specially the frogless (10mm)

reccomended for beginers (which i am myself)

get a dart frog book mate (well worth it!) www.amazon.com
