retf vs. wtf

okay i have a white tree frog and he seems simple enough to keep. I feed him a mad. hissing roach once every day or two and he soaks in my little tupperware with water in it. I've heard red eye tree frogs are hard to take care of, how much more of a hassle are they than whites?? do you have to get uv-b?
