What do desert igs eat? Same as most of the other ones like veggies, fruits? I Heard they do not get as large either as the green igs. THis may be a solution to my problem. Thanks. Cage size and any other advice is appreciated.

Are you referring to Chuckwallas? Got a genus and species to help clue us in?
If you mean the Dipsosaurus dorsalis, here is a site that offers some tips:

Dipsosaurus dorsalis is right. I believe it is just called a desert iguana. I've just started learning about lizards and such so i don't know that much about them. I believe that they are a seperate species from chuckwallas though. THanks
Does anyone else own a desert Iguana here? If so, do you have any photos?

PS. Do you have any pics of your desert Ig if you have one?

You may want to hop on over to the Chuckwalla forum. There are many people over there that also keep desert iguanas. It's true, they don't get anywhere near as large as their green cousins, but they do have very specific husbandry needs. Tom, Dave, Eve and all the others over there will give you excellent advice.
THanks i appreciate all your responces.
