Question about Hypos, Salmon, and Sunglow boas...

Hi,

I got a quick question that may seem a little silly...
I've noticed a lot post of hypo, salmon, and sunglow boas. They all look great!!

But I've seen a lot with dark blotches on their head. Are the dark blotches normal? Take a typical columbian and it has a nice grey colored head. But many of these hypos (salmons) have really dark markings.
Is that normal?
