Holy s**t!! ... and a message to newbies...

Finnigan Jun 03, 2003 10:00 PM

Hey all.

When I first got into BP's (little over a year ago) I did a ton of research, spoke to many experts (and self-proclaimed experts) ... I thought I knew everything. And people are generally good at telling everything you need to know.

But no one ever says anything about turd size.

My new adult male just took a crap that is so big it makes my 85 lbs dog poos look like nothing. I honestly can not believe how big it was and how much of a mess it was to clean up.

So ... in conclusion ... its something people don't normally think about but I believe it is worth mentioning ... be prepared to clean MONSTER turds for these animals. Your new hatchling may make cute little BM's now ... but just know that one day you'll be cleaning up after a clydesdale.

I do have to agree with you on that. Shocked me when i saw the 1st BIG boop.

I only been doing this for about 6 months now and nothing suprises me when it comes to poops anymore. Thanks... JAZ

I was a bit shocked by the monstrosities that my BP's leave for me. Does anyone else notice that it's never in a place you'd expect it to be. Mine always drop in their hides or somehow on the sides of their tubs. That's my two cents.
