Don't post many pics....this is one we've named the Alabaster Boa.......more

This is a pic of siblings that are 100% het albino. The lighter one is what we have coined the "Alabaster" Boa. She is generally much lighter overall than your average BCI(the laddertail is not a dark boa so the contrast is not as great), the saddles appear to be made up of speckles in person, and her sheds are COMPLETELY clear, absolutely no pattern shows up. She is heavily speckled down the sides with lateral striping on the front and rear third of the body, equally. So, you may look at the pic, and laugh and say...just looks like a light BCI. Well, I guess you just have to see it in person. It's nothing extraordinary, just something interesting that popped out of an otherwise normal litter of het boas. If there is some genetic factor at play, that would be great. If not, she'll always be a candidate for dh sunglow males. LOL! Hope some of you like her, I definitely do.

very nice shot...I have a couple similar looking animals that i produced this year...here are a few pics that kinda show comparison.

I think I saw your pics a while back, and I was impressed then. The lateral striping is almost identical. Is that one a stand out in the litter, or did you get a few like that one? Very nice boas, what do you plan on breeding with that one? Hypo? Will be cool to see them as they mature. Hopefully they stay light as time goes by. Oh yeah, does yours happen to shed clear sheds as well? This one is similar to the ghost ball pythons from what I can compare. I think it's Shannon Moore who has the "hypos" that shed clear, but I'm not sure on that. However her boas appear totally different than this one from the pics I've seen and did side by side comparisons of. I've seen Jeremy Stone post pics of one he has from her, and he stated "possibly T " at that time. I don't think I agree with that, but not seeing one in person, it's hard to say. Well, thanks for the follow up, hope you have/had a great Christmas! Take care!

That one is my favorite of the litter, but about half of the litter was colored like that. of 19 babies, 10 were lat. striped, and 5 of those 10 had the very light coloring. They came from a very low contrast, high yellow male that has very long lat stripes, and a nice clean pastelish female. I am going to try breeding him to a hypo next year if I can get ahold of one. Let me know if you would like to try to prove something out and I can hold back some light lat. stripers this season.Take care, and good luck.
