I know this doesn't answer your question, and I'll probably not be the only one to say this, but you probably shouldn't have a humidifier in the same room as a beardie. The humidity isn't good for them. Not only that but if the room get's damp enough, it may make your beardie really cold.
I was deathly ill for one night. it's not used anymore.. I plugged it in for one night and poitned a fan at his cage to make sure he got dry air. I was safe.. i just haven't put it away yet.
and no you didn't answer my question.
Do you have any pictures of him in natural light outside of his cage? A picture like this would help. This is my Fuego a red flame.

no I don't have any picutres of him in natural light. he won't let me hold him long enough to get one. all I know is that he turns black when he's really warm.
