T-Rex Uro Supplement?

maneatingorchid Dec 26, 2003 11:47 PM

Hey, all. I picked up a uro supplement made by T-Rex today. Iw as wondering, have you used it? You sprinkle it on the greens, I think you still use clacium supplements, though. The guy at the pet shop (twin cities reptile) said it's good stuff, and I really trust them (I'm planning to buy a female saharan or nigerian from them if they get 'em in), but I was wondering if any of you tried it and liked it or anytihng. I'm going to start him on it tomarrow, I'll post my thoughts on it after a couple of days.

I'm very baised toward the use of the t-rex formulas. I have had my collection of Rhacs on the t-rex diets for close to a year now without any problems. I use all 3 of the Dragon blends, the leopard gecko formula and the Uro blend. All the formulas use the same ingredients, just in different ratios to compliment the diet of the species it is intended for. The Uro dust you bought is actually a complete food that is in the form of a powder. It has all the macro nutrients and micro nutrients the Uro needs to grow healthy. The thing is it is a powder, so you have to use the veggies as a delivery medium. This way it does not matter what veggies you use in the salad, the powder is delivering the nutritional "punch". By the way, if you are using the dust, you do not need additional calcium supplementing.
good luck
