feeding question

rttlrvenom Dec 27, 2003 12:17 AM

yeah this is probably a stupid question that has been answered before but both of my hatchlings are a little over 12inches can i feed them 2 pinkies instead of just 1. My amel that i fed on wednesday had a bulge when i fed her but the next morning there was no bulge i though she regurged it but there was nothing in the tank.

Also is there any way to kinda quess the sex of a hatchling corn or do i have to wait till they get bigger and get the vet to probe them.

thanx in advance

Go ahead and try two pinks on them. If they have trouble digesting, then cut it back down to one.

As for sexing, you can take them to a reptile vet to pop them at this age (do not attempt this yourself), and should be able to get a fairly good reading (although by no means a definite one) as to the gender.
