granite questions....

HFR Dec 27, 2003 06:27 AM

Hey folks...

Just looking for your oppinions here on the granite phase balls; what IS the criteria?

I'm not a broker or resaler and you won't find me offering any for sale. But I pick up alot of normal females here and there for my own breeding projects. And some of them appear to be granite looking. What is the defining criteria? Thanks and hope everyone's enjoying their holidays.

Hey Joe,
Hows the female Sanzinia doing?Any little ones this year?

HFR Dec 28, 2003 02:37 AM

....she's had the hell bred out of her by a sharp looking mandarin male. But no signs of definitely being gravid yet; not swollen, dark, basking, etc.

I do have a green and white female though that's looking really promising (bred by a green and white male). I guess time will tell. Drop me an email and I'll keep you posted. Good hearing from you. Thanks,

Faded head...black spots all over the "alien heads"...beaded scalation, often analogized to Angolan Pythons (Can't say for sure, as I only got to see an Angolan once, and long before I ever was aware of the granites).

Here's a pic of my female:
Enjoy

Thanks for the info and the pic. If that's the criteria, then I guess I DO have a few of them. Pretty wild. Thanks again,

There's no guessing to it. If you have one, it's pretty obvious!
