i was wondering... is it okay to house a Bull and a Northern Pine together, or should i keep them separate? just checking.

As a general rule, it is almost always better to give any snake it's own setup. While pits aren't as cannibilistic as kings, milks etc there are no guarentees they won't give it a try. Eating each other aside, many snakes can get stressed in cramped quarters with others and just not do very well. Most snakes only like company during breeding season. That being said however, there are probably quite a few people here who have kept a couple same sized pits together for a time without noticable harm(myself included) but it is usually better to keep them separate.
