*PIC* adult orangish gecko vs yellowish gecko comparision

SFgeckos Jun 03, 2003 10:58 PM

since alot of people are posting pics of their "tangerines", i decided to take a quick pic to show the difference between what i think are "orange" and "yellow" geckos in my collection. i think the pic speaks for itself...

both geckos are 2+ years old, 60-65 grams and have hardly changed at all in their brightness or coloration...they were both produced by me and some of their offspring this year are looking super nice! i'll post pics of them early summer...take care

Actually again that looks like a standard carrot tail. The Ray Hine line carrot tails all have that similiar look to them. Most original carrot tails are that yellowish color with a hint of orange coloration.

This is one of my girls. I need to get a new pic of her. It doesn't show alot of the orange but she has alot. Will be crossing this girl to a tang albino I have from Masterpiece.

She is really orange. I traded her for 2 bell albinos though to petesgeckos...

awsome!

Nice looking animals. Looks like one Carrot tail Tangerine cross and a regular carrot tail.

the left one has no hine line blood in her at all. she is straight from selective line breeding of nice orange geckos.
btw- nice gex you've been hatching too, i enjoy seeing your pics on the ks photo album. take care
