Reading Archives about MVB made my head swirl, please clarify

Hi Guys: I'm plugging away at readying myself on the soon arrival of my new Cham. I read one comment that said that Mercury Vapor Bulbs can take the guess work out of Supplementation. In all the research I have done, supplementation is the one area I feel least sure about and I wondered if this MVB(that doesn't last too long)still may be a good item for a newbie like me? I want to take the guess work out of that area since it seems that this area is paramount for the health of the animal, and after reading much on supplementation I'm wondering if I should do the MVB with a UVA/B Meter to ensure all are well. Thanks-Maggie

Maggie,

We can send you a copy of the published research on MV lighting for pardalis. We suggest you read this before buying MV bulbs.

Plan on using supplements ocassionally - but concentrate on giving nutritious feeder prey! Gut-loading is extremely important.
