thermostat ?

snakemanmatt30 Dec 27, 2003 04:48 PM

Hello, I am getting 2 ultratherm heat pads next week and need a reliable thermostat or rheostat. I am wandering if I could use a rheostat with these rather than spending big bucks on a helix etc. I have digital thermometers to check temps. reliably. Thanks Matt

I personally wouldn't use anything other than a Ranco, or some other thermostat. I've used rheostats before and found myself constantley adjusting it. Bite the bullet and buy a Ranco, you will be glad you did!
