Baby GTP not feeding, any suggestions??

susanpearl Dec 27, 2003 06:36 PM

Hi,

On Monday I acquired a baby GTP. He/She is housed in a 16LX10WX7H rubbermaid container. I'm using a "blue" light as heat, attached to a thermostat. I tried to feed my baby GTP a F/T on Thursday...no luck. Today I tried a small live fuzzy mouse...no luck.

I know she's in new surroundings and probably is a bit timid. Should I move her to a smaller container (16X8X6)? I would put the container within my rack with a few perches. Or should I let her settle for a few more days?

I guess my biggest concern is that her current container may be to big for her.

Let me know what you think...

Any tips would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,

Susan P.

p.s. the last time she ate was on 12/19...

Give it a week or two to settle in. In the meantime, check out chondroweb.com. More chondro info there than you'll find anywhere else.
