What kind of lighting do garters need?

Im planning to put a uv flourecent light on my garter to help it grow will it help? Thank you.

I don't think it would hurt, but I don't think it would help either, other than helping your local UV bulb supplier's bottome line! I use a lowly 60W incandescent bulb with my garter, whom I've had for 8 years, and he's doing fine.
