Too crouded?

Wizwise Dec 27, 2003 10:06 PM

Below is the address to my tank setup pic.
It's 30 inches long, 18 high and 12 deep.
Just wondering is it too crouded for a cali
king, corn or hondu milk?

Thanks

Well, 30"x12" is the same footprint as a 20 long tank. Plenty of people keep their corns in that size tank.

I currently keep my adult male amel corn in a 20 g long. He's rather big for a corn though, so he could use a bigger enclosure, I guess. But thus far I have seen no ill effects of keeping him in these conditions... He will get a bigger enclosure somewhere down the line tho.

Sounds like the dementions of a 20 gallon long. I have my 2 corns and a honduran milk in 20 gallon longs. They seem fine and happy. I hope your going to use some type of substrate over that heat mat so the snake doesn't burn it's self. Also at least 2 hides is sufficent, one on hot side, one on cool side. I've had my first corn in a 20 gallon long and she's been doing great. She's at least a year old now. I handle them a couple times a week to keep them tame and gives them excercise. Enjoy!
