Well, I do hope you're feeling a bit better after your terrible loss. This isn't meant to be an "I told you so" speech, but I would like to repeat what I wrote to you back in November when you were considering getting a BTS. The best advice that I think I can give you if you're considering getting another BTS is to get a captive-bred, not just captive-BORN, individual. More than likely, incidentally, that will be an Australian BTS, which also happen to be generally tamer.
Good luck and take your time finding the right animal. I believe it will be worth it for you, whether you find it in Maryland in January or later elsewhere.

Not a stupid question. Anerythristic means lacking red pigmentation. I wouldn't buy that skink, by the way.
Any comments on what I wrote?
