which? black milk or mexican black kingsnake

As soon as I figure out caging situation I plan on expanding the number of snakes I raise to a dozen or more. Have 1 amel and 1 normal corn, current wish list is 1.1 pairs of: locality Okeetees, leucistic texas rats, norhern pines, black pines, assorted rat snake species, and whatever else strikes my interest. Prefer snakes that occur naturally in the wild.

Recently saw pictures of black milksnakes and mexican black kingsnakes and they look awesome. Would like to raise a pair of one or the other. Can anyone tell me general differences such as size, behavior (nocturnal/diurnal), activity levels, special requirements such as temp and humidity, etc.
Currently plan on housing all adult snakes in 4x2x1 cages. Willing to go larger for larger snakes.

black kings: desert dwellers 3-4', mid 80s with basking spot 90-100.
black milksnakes: mountain dwellers ~6' low to mid 70s.

looks like I'll try the milksnake.
