Blasted Repti-Glo!

Icarus Dec 28, 2003 08:06 AM

Fine, I'm not that angry... but it'd be nice if they included information on which ballasts their bulbs are compatible with (ballasts being the transformer in a fluorescent fixture). As no one is answering this question in the "habitat" forum, I figured I'd give it a shot here - Can Repti-Glo bulbs be used with standard fluorescent fixtures if the wattage capacities match?

How do I make this "Collared" related... Well, there's a picture of a collared on the Repti-Glo 8.0 box. Beautiful.
-----
Peter - Since when did they change the meaning of "for" to "from?"
Brian - They had a meeting about it last night.
Peter - Why wasn't I informed?
Brian - They sent you a card, but it said "For Peter" so you must have thought it was from yourself so... It's just easier to call you stupid.

i dont know if this answers your question but awhile ago i bought a fluorescent fixture from the petstore for 40 dollars. i thought it was way to much so i took it back and went to a hardware store and got a regular one for about 5 bucks and it works fine

as long as the wattages match it should be fine, low fire risk just like all lamps.
