there are people who have done it and it was successful. I brumated mine last but i may not brumate them this year(i can't find a spot to put them where the temps are reliable)I have heard that fertility can be lower w/o brumation and that some won't even breed but I don't know how true this is or how often this occurs. I personally see no harm in letting them grow over the winter and trying to breed them in the spring. If they don't breed or you get a clutch of duds there is always the next year
