Maybe I'm just slow and only now noticed this... But I was looking through the Reptiles Magazine 2004 Annual, and the back page is an advertisement for Flukers Reptasun bulbs. Not only that, they're near worthless --- 2% UVB.

Very typical for the reptile industry. It happens all the time. There are tons of bulbs out there that are also useless. Seems that reptile companies like to represent stuff one way even if it isn't the whole truth. Buyer beware is the motto of the story.
