help-female panther

Hello,

My female panther is not supossed to be gravid. However, I found a small egg next to her feces.

What could this be and why?????

this happens, females will lay infertal eggs.

Make sure she has soil to lay her eggs in. If she's gravid and happend to pop an egg out, she may be ready to lay them all. If you don't already have a soil bin prepared for her, do so ASAP. It isn't normal for her to lay an egg on the surface next to her feces.
