I was wondering if someone could give me some information on chameleon mouth rot? I was doing a thorough cleaning yesterday of my Veileds' cages, and my female wasnt happy about it, she was gaping at me and I noticed inside her mouth, around her *teeth* line, there was a line of brown color... Is this normal or could this be the begining of mouthrot? I will try to get a picture if I can and post it.
And speaking of illnesses, I was misting my male yesterday too and everytime I misted him he would *wheeze* or breathe in audibly. Usually I dont hear him. I have been running the humidifier upstairs non stop but it doesnt make too much difference... But when we were gone for christmas, (2 days)I filled it up but it prolly ran dry after half a day. So they were without for bout 2 days.
Im just unsure whether im worrying too much or they are indeed sick. I will try to get a vet's opinion but wanted to ask you all here who have gone through these things before =)
