What I got for Christmas (pic)

meretseger Dec 28, 2003 02:41 PM

This is my first Boa constrictor, but I think I made a good choice! She seems to have a lot of pink, especially on her tummy. Ironically the author of my new book says less than flattering things about Hogg Islands. But I don't care, mine's a cutie.

Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?

You will love her. Mine are so sweet and very mellow. One of my friends came over Xmas evening and she loves my Hog girlie, Mz Peach. She spent about 2 hours sitting on the sofa with Mz Peach draped around and across her lap - all the while, gently stroking her neck. This boa girl was acting just like a lap dog, never once attempting to crawl away. I don't really know if boas like to be touched, but this one sure makes an argument "for" being petted.

BTW.....your baby is very pretty, too!

I hope mine ends up that nice, she seems pretty cool so far but she's still settling in. She's only 4 months old. We gave her two hidespots, cork bark and a macaroni and cheese box. She chose the box.
We're planning on pairing her up with a nice blue male but I'm going to have to be ultra-picky about who's good enough for my girl!
