does anyone elses male veiled freak out at the sight of a bluberry??!!

he about 5 months old and and i tryed to hand feed him a blue berry today and he freaked out like it scared the hell out of him and took off runnin(as fast a chams can) and flashed me all kinds of colors, anyone else seen this>?

my guy does that whenever he sees a bug of any kind.

I'm not kidding. If chams could cry, he'd be sobbing in a corner, every time he sees an insect.
Especially silk worms. He goes and hides in the corner of his cage, with his head hidden until I take it out of his cage.

We've noticed that our veiled cham is also very visually cued -- actually, I think that applies to all chameleons. Whenever we mist his cage with our little hand-held sprayer, if he happens to see the red top, he goes bezerk -- flashes out his vivid colors, gapes and hisses like a tea kettle.

So now, we use our black & white garden sprayer to mist his cage. LOL
