Tail Thrashing

Hey all, I have a B&W Argentine that is around 18-20 inches. He does not seem interested in biting me so much as he loke to wip me! Any ideas I can try on him to get him to stop? Any suggestions would be great,

Just handle him everyday at around the same time and he will eventually learn that you are not a threat to him, and stop. My Tegu did the same thing but stopped after a few days handling.
