Housing leos in sweaterboxes

I dont have any racks now but for the time wanted to stack the sweaterbox with the lids. When you do this how do you heat the boxes? Do you actually have to buy a heat pad for every box? I ask because without a rack I dont see how to run heat tape.

All your leos need heat, so yes, absolutely every sweaterbox needs a heat pad. An undertank heater needs air flow beneath it or it will overheat and singe the surface below. This can happen with human heat pads as well (though you can put a towel under those. I don't know of anyone who stacks their boxes.
