How much does she weigh? Usually a breeding-age/size female bp will be bigger than the majority of males. There are plenty of exceptions to the rule, however, as many here could attest to.
my male is about 3 lbs and my female that I just picked up is about 1 1/2 or 2lbs I have had the male for 10 years now.
I don't think thta will affect anything I just thought I mihgt get into breeding them just to see how it works out for me if I like it I mihgt pick up a few morphs.
the female should be about 1500 grams. id say wait till its another lb heavier.
thank you very much I was planning on waiting till next season because I just picked her up today and I want to make sure she is in god health and established... if you can think of a name for her let me know these are 2 pictures I just took.
here's the second pic
