I know you guys want to be humble but I am just a little curious. How much, or about how much do breeders make. The profits must be different with the different herps but I would say being a breeder would be the best career choice ever. Spending most your days with animals and yet making a nice income.

I'm no big breeder but from what I have heard from some of the breeders were that it isn't really a great career because basically the money you make on the reptiles goes right back into the reptiles. Once you breed and sell something you want something more and more expensive...it mainly just supports itself without you having to dig into your savings to pay for it....and some do that anyway. Just my 2 cents.

Pete told me he made $450,000.00 the year he proved out the pieds.
I think a lot of inflated monies from other breeders. It takes a few years before you make money. And sometimes you just do not want to sell the babies....lol
This year will be my banner year if all goes well!
