If your BP has scale rot down 1/3 of his body, thats bad husbandry on your part. You should have noticed it when it consumed only one scale. TAKE IT TO A VET ASAP! scale rot down 1/3 of the body aint good. shame on you.

The bst thing to do is to get a antibiotic and put it on the are 3x day. It should go away with the sheddings, keep the cage bottom clean and dry. Don't try to get your humidity too high, 40-50% is good; when they get ready to shed you can increase to 60-70%. Too much moisture helps to create problems and cause bacteria growth.

When someone is looking for help it would be nice to answer the question and not try to down them. The person knows that something was done wrong and needs to know what to do right. if we are to help each other then le'ts do it and stop finding so much fault. Everyone has to go through a learning period and we all are stilling learning. Remember if you know it all you should just lay down and die because you're sucking up air that someone else could use, you have nothing that can be taught to you.

okay, i didnt mean to sound rude, but i know it did sound rude.
I just trying to say, if you took care of your animals (inspect them once a week or so) this would have never happenend. It might have happenend, but with a couple scales, and not 1/3 of the body.

Just get it to a vet as soon as you can.
