im planning on getting a blazing blizzard as soon as they come out, and im getting confused on the genetics. ok, so do blazing blizzard to blazing blizzard breedings occur in all bb's? also, is blazing blizzard to normal make normal blazing blizzard hets? and then what is the ratio of blazing blizzards that come out of blazing blizz to blazing blizz het? and finally, breeding a blazing blizzard to an albino makes all albino's right? but are those albino's het for blizzard? sorry, i just wanna make sure i know a little about the genetics before i go and start a $1000 project.

BB to BB gives all BB's. BB to Normal just gives you a double het, it's het for blizzard and het for albino. Breed those offspring back to the father and you will only get blazing blizzards one of every four offspring, if you are lucky, and that's already your second year of breeding. If you are trying to create more blazing blizzards you should not breed to normals, but to double hets for a chance a BB's your first year, or at least to Blizzards or Albinos- then the next generation would give you 50% BB's and Blizzards or Albinos that are het for the other trait, which you could probably sell some of that year to recoup part of your investment. But your best bet is to breed to double hets the first year to try to get some BB's with your first season of offspring. Prices for genetic morphs tend to crash within a couple years, so if you wait for two years to even have a chance at producing blazing blizzards, by the time you produce them you may find they are already pretty common and not worth much.

Some of us (like me) don't know what traits are dominant and which ones are recessive

Don't worry about the dominant, co-dominant, etc...

Albino, Blizzard, Patternless are all recessive.

Tangerine and snow are line bred so a tool like this won't tell you anything.

Ask somewone else about Jungle and stripes, I've heard it argued several ways, and I don't work with jungles.
