Shedding?

gex53 Dec 28, 2003 09:53 PM

I've had my gecko 3 months now and have noticed no shed. So i'm geussing that the sheds are just going smoothly enough to not be noticed. Do they eat every bit of the skin? None left over? Because i havnt seen even a small piece of shedded skin anywhere.
Thanks alot.

I have only seen my Largest leopard Gecko sheed twice. This normaly occurs at night. This would be why you havn't seen this happen.
They do eat it all. Some times they will miss a little bit, just like one time I found the whole tall skin in my tank.
Also, over just 3 months, your gecko would only sheed about 5-6 times if even that.
The best way to tell it they will is they will be almost gray and after they do witch will take about 45 minuts sometimes, they will be veryy bright colord.
