Well I purchased a S10 rack system from Animal Plastics a month ago and it works great. It came with belly heat so I am not sure about the flexwatt but it is a great product.
Good Luck with your decision,

Yeah I figured the belly heat on the racks would be awsome, thats what im gonna get on my s11's. I was just wondering about the cages themselves, anyone else have any input? Thanks
-Matt
How well these cages hold heat depends on a few factors. First and foremost is the differential between your desired cage temperature and the ambient temperature in the room where the cage will be maintained.
Of lesser importance is the humidity inside of the cage and whether or not there will be another cage stacked on top.
They would be stacked and the room in on an oil filled heated controlled by a ranco set @ 75. Thanks

Sorry if you already mentioned this, I'm on a dial-up connection and did not want to go back and read all the posts.
Regardless, an ambient temp. of 75* will likely work well with these cages depending on what species you go with. The HDPE will not conduct heat along the length of the cage as well as, say, PVCX but that is actually *better* in some cases.
My suspicion is that Animal Plastics cages will work fine for you. I've now seen a few of their racks and two of their 4' cages. I really like that they ship their stuff unassembled to save on shipping costs. The quality of the joints is good, making for easy assembly.
In my experience animalplastics cages hold heat very well. I dont know about the flexwat because they wernt designed for it. I would reccomend just going for the belly heat. The temperature of the rack depends on what you set the thermostat to as well as the temp of the room you put it in. You can have a hot spot of 100-105 if desired but you can also have one of 85 if you want to. I also have a few of the terrestrial and arboreal cages. The T1 which is a 2*2*1 terrestrial cage. if i have a 60 watt day bulb on the cage i have a perfect hot spot for my ball pythons. the arboreal cages are great too. i have two of them. one 2*2*3 for my 4 cresteds. and one that is 2*3*2 for my 2 gargoyles. I have only needed a 40-60 watt day bulb to keep about a 78 - 80 temperature range for me in the top half of the cage for my rhacs. if you wanna know more in detail just call the store yourself. you probably wont get a hold of mark himself. I didn't. but you will talk to either Kerry or Ali. They can answer all of your questions. Their number is

hope that helps!
