well this afternoon i took my son to ride his dirt bike after that we headed out to get some more grape vine(got a truck load this time) and ran into a falconer. we thought his truck was a stolen just because were it was but after about 20 mintues i see this guy cutting across the vineyard we're in with this huge bird. we make a bee lie for him to check into and he turns out to be a falconer out huning with his harris hawk. i had looked into falconery a few years ago but because of the time requirements i opted not to pursue it. i talked to the guy for an hour and a half. got to pet the hawk, check out his equipment and got some good sounding advise to get into falconry. just got to get some books to take the test...and find a way to convince my wife to let me have a hawk...could be worse. could be snakes! lol

Dennis;
Do you have access to grape cuttings from a vineyard? If so, would like to here from you. E-mail me at gomezvi@yahoo.com. I want to get a hold of some 'older' grapewood cuttings for a bonsai experiment I'm working on.
Not exactly chameleon related, but I do use a number of my bonsais in my chameleon enclosures.
Oh, BTW, I could offer some ball pythons in trade for the grapewood cuttings (I'm sure your wife would love these!).
