czarkasm Dec 28, 2003 11:52 PM

Is it ok to handle a Firebelly Toad? If not, then would it be ok to use gloves?

Thanks

you can touch them a little bit, but gloves might be a better precaution. if not, WASH YOUR HANDS RIGHT AFTERWORDS!!! also, keep the hands/ gloves very wet. just try not to touch them very much, if you can

It is not OK to handle them in terms of picking them up and playing with them, and letting them hop around your room. They really should only be handled when they need to be removed for drastic tank cleaning. In which case I do recommend using gloves, for your benefit and for the frogs.
