juliecwuk Dec 29, 2003 07:21 AM

Hi,
Does anyone know much about Cape Dwarf Geckos (Lygodactylus capensis)? I have seen some in a pet shop and i dont think the people know much about them.

Habitat/care requirements/size/anything really?

here is some info I got out of my atlas of reptile and amphibeans in the terrrarium(x-mas present).

their common name is the common dwarf gecko.they come from southern and south western africa.they grow to around 3 inches long.they are active during the day and have the sticky stuff witch is on their hands is also on their tail tip to aid in climbing.they need a basking light.dont keep the terrarium to dry.they have been bred occasionaly in captivity.go on google and see if you really have the common dwarf gecko or if it is the painted dwarf gecko because if it I can give you som specific care info on it becasue their is alot more info on the painted ones.
