new beardie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wyattroa Dec 29, 2003 02:27 PM

i have one bearded already that is a male thats about 2 years old. he is set up on one side of my room. no i just purchased another bearded because when i saw him he was just too cute. he is set up on the opposite side of the room as the 2 year old beardie. the baby cant seem to take his eyes off of the others cage, and the male in the other cage just now started to puff out and bring out his beard. should i make it so that they cant see eachother??? is this stressing them both out. what can this do to the baby seeing that it is only his second day here!

I would make it so they can't see eachother. It is more stressful for the new one if he can see a larger male that is making displays to him. I have all of my 7 beardies in separate tanks and none of them can see eachother. Good luck!
