Well this local is dark...must have been in the sun too long! I like the greenishes around here, wouldn't mind having a pure Obsoleta or Quadrivittata, but he, these guys are cool too. lol

Eastern NC, Craven County to be exact. This individual is probably one of the darkest greenishes(Pantherophis obseleta x quadrivittata) I've seen in our area. The picture makes it look darker than normal and it's likely that the individual may have been nearing a shed, but it's hard to say also. Considering others in the area, would still make this snake darker than normal.
