I just want your opinion on what is good breeder business. I emailed a breeder(who will remain nameless)on dec 22nd telling him I was interested in 3 leos he had on sale for xmas. He responded on dec 23rd and I havent heard from him since. I understand people go away for the holidays and that may be the case but shouldnt a breeder notify their client who they are about to make a sale with? I emailed him again on the 26th and again today on the 29th. Im very interested in these leos because I like their look and the xmas sale was reasonably priced for me. In addition to being upset that its taking this long, my next concern is now that xmas is over im thnking he'll try to pull the sale is over crapola when i tried to make this purchase a week ago BEFORE xmas. Ive seen people on this forum say theyve made a purchase from him and therefore I was confident who i was dealing with but now im not so sure. Should I take my business elsewhere? Its just so hard to find leos in my price range. Thanks!

i will keep checking back at all their sites and not waste my time with this guy. I appreciate being told when a business deal seems fishy before I give the guy my money. Thanks again!

. . . he may not be shady - just gone. I know I've been extremely busy with my "real" job - and haven't been around a lot. The only reason I can keep up with my emails, is because i'm a nerd - and check my mail a lot.

Some guys/gals aren't on the net 24/7 - although, if he's running a Christmas special, you would think they might check emails.

One irritating thing I have noticed from some people - is when the leos are sold, they won't respond to tell other people who are interested. That seems a bit short sighted to me, though.

OK - I'm rambling - so here's my point - if you really like the Leos and the price - check them out on a certain website where you can find out their reputation (email me for that info - i can't say it on KS) - and pester the crap out of them until you get your animal.

On a side note, what are you looking for anyway? Sometimes, some people can get a hold of cool things for cool prices if you just ask . . . .

Well, what I was interested in purchasing from this guy were female juvies. I loved a bright yellow/tangarine abbarant leo and a light patternless, was also considering an albino. If i were to purchase all 3, that would run me $95...which is the same amount if i bought one leo for 60 or so plus shipping. Pet stores here run $60-80 and thats for normals. I have 4 normals and would love to throw a splash of color and diversity into my collection. Between my 4 leos and 4 cats (one of which who is having surgery for a hernia) my vet bill is phenomonal and would rather not spend 90 on one leo if i can get a better deal. Im not looking for a "fru fru". Thanks for all who have helped me.

You could always by 1 killer leo instead of 3 nice ones its easyer to care for that way but I cant talk I have 20 leos. If you email thouse sights and tell em what your looking for and the price they might have some stuff I know garricks stuff is a lil expensive and im a bargoner but I never battle with him on prices cause his geckos are great. Every albino on there that looks yellow glows orange when you get it same with his tangs and rob has great prices email him hes trying to sell a buch of stuff before he goes back to school in february.
